Kill Me Now Kiss Me Later
Kill Me Now, Kiss Me Later is a rock band that combines electronic dance rhythms with the crunch and distortion of punk music. Songwriters, Oscar and Edgar Merlo, are brothers who grew up in the El Sereno neighborhood of Los Angeles. They are influenced by The Ramones, Joy Division, and Pulp. Both brothers are classically trained musicians: Oscar plays keyboards, Edgar plays lead guitar and sings. Female vocalist, Edie Marshall, a Florida-based visual and performance artist, is a featured songwriting collaborator on several tracks. When not writing music, Oscar conducts a children's choir in downtown Los Angeles and Edgar builds custom guitars and amps. Kill Me Now, Kiss Me Later continues to collaborate with a variety of urban musicians and local artists to create unique, authentic soundscapes that reflect the energy and emotion of Los Angeles.
